  1. Latest travel plans are a vacation to visit my in-laws in Germany if we are able to package it with a business trip the husband and I have in Paris. I've never been to Paris and have always wanted to go. Ever since the first time I saw a picture of the Eiffel Tower when I was about five years old. This will be my second trip to Europe. I honestly never thought I would ever have a first trip so this is exciting.

  2. A backpack with a tshirt, hoodie, jeans, underthings, socks, pair of Converse, and a paperback of Jack London's White Fang - my travel plans if I hear the TARDIS land in my yard. :)

  3. Erin is half Swedish, half Norwegian. She’d been to most the Scandinavian countries before we met so we made plans for a week in Iceland. I’d never been out of the country before and was overwhelmed by the beauty of the place and its people. With her blonde hair and my red beard we blended into the crowd and people would speak the native language to us until we answered. Some plans changed on the fly. The bus schedule worked against us. And we found ourselves at a little art gallery on an island off the island where I got to see a video installation of a man pressing his penis against some rotating cylinder in a car engine. It was Bjork’s husband’s show. I remember that. And I remember being relieved that no one else was there and I was free to stand and appreciate the thing for as long as I liked.

  7. We are taking the family back to Oak Island, NC for vacation in May. Its a great week of family time right on the beach. The bonus reason its so awesome is from our youngest son Chase. The story goes..my mother in law goes to the same beach every year with some friends, so when we decided to take our family in 2011, she was sharing her stories with the kids. Fast forward to the day we arrive, we all walk down to the beach and its the 1st time the kids have ever seen the ocean up close. Chase turns to his GG (what they call her) and says "GG, thanks for sharing your ocean with us. It's awesome!" Out of the mouths of 4 year olds. :-) keep up the great work Cat, we love it! Safe travels.

  10. In 25 years, I've never been out of the country, but in June I'm hoping to go to England for the first time. While there I really want to go skydiving. That'll be 2 items off my bucket list.
